NEW AFTER SCHOOL LEARNING CENTER INFORMATION Lake Hamilton received a three-year grant to provide an after-school learning center opportunity for Kindergarten through 3rd grade. The center will have 100 spots and will provide a strong academic enrichment program from 3:30 until 5:30 p.m. during select weeks of the school year at no cost to families. 2023-24 MEAL APPLICATION It's time to apply for free school meals! A new application must be completed each school year in order to continue receiving free meals. SALES TAX HOLIDAY Beginning at 12:01 a.m. on Saturday, August 5, 2023, and ending at 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, August 6, 2023, the State of Arkansas will hold its sales tax holiday allowing shoppers the opportunity to purchase certain Electronic Devices, School Supplies, School Art Supplies, School Instructional Materials, and Clothing free of state and local sales or use tax. All retailers are required to participate and may not charge tax on items that are legally tax-exempt during the Sales Tax Holiday.

READING DEN BOOK RETURN Did you enjoy visiting the bookmobile this summer? Summer routes have ended, but books can still be returned to any school office. Big thanks to all of the volunteers that worked on the bookmobile this summer!

ATTENTION JUNIORS AND SENIORS If you will be in the 11th or 12th grade and have signed up for a concurrent credit class (AP Biology, English Comp, Advanced Algebra II, AP Psychology, AP Calculus, or AP Statistics), you must submit your passing ACT or Accuplacer scores to the high school counselors office no later than July 31, 2023, to stay enrolled in the class.
